people think i'm extrovert, But I don't really click with a lot of people I struggle with that || 🎬 Normal People [ 2020- ]|| elobarated thoughts

Quiet people always know more than they seem. Although very normal, their inner world is by default fronted mysterious and therefore assumed weird. Never underestimate the social awareness and sense of reality in a quiet person; they are some of the most observant, absorbent persons of all. The quiet ones, the introverts, are uniquely gifted. We have tremendous patience and empathy. We don’t need to say much, yet we’re able to build deep connections and rapport with those around us.

I mean, aren't we supposed to spend our free time the way we like, not the way we think we're supposed to? Stay home on New Year's Eve if that's what makes you happy. Skip the committee meeting. Cross the street to avoid making aimless chitchat with random acquaintances. Read. Cook. Run. Write a story. Make a deal with yourself that you'll attend a set number of social events in exchange for not feeling guilty when you beg off. 🤍🤍

IMDb 8.5

📌 This show feels so intimate for some strange magical reason. The story was really beautiful, two people growing up to become completely different people than they were as teenagers. Normal People has the most amazing aesthetics, cinematography and music. To think of it, the show kinda grows onto you. Special appreciation for paul.mescal for that brilliant performance. ❤️
