"I used to believe in destiny"Ted Mosby|| HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER||SITCOMS||DESTINY

I used to believe in destiny, you know? I used to go to the bagel place, see a pretty girl in line, reading my favorite novel, whistling the song that's been stuck in my head all week, and I think: "Wow... Hey, maybe she's the one?" But now I think: "I just know that bitch is going to take the last whole wheat everything bagel." And it's not that I've been focused at work. it's more than that. I just stopped believing.

And not in some depressed I'm-gonna-cry-during-my-toast way. Not in a way I even noticed until tonight. It's just, every day I think I... believe a little less, and a little less, and a little less, and that sucks. I think, the power of Destiny is very underappreciated. How much you feel attracted to someone depends on whether the forces of the world place you near each other or not. It's very essential for a relationship to blossom. We try to force something but ignore the fact that some things happens only when they're bound to happen, otherwise you're only pushing a pull door. 🌼
